Green Dragon logs are made by a group of fresh produce,
cereal and oilseed growers who are processing and crushing British-grown
oilseed rape to produce sustainable sources of food, fuels and energy.
They’ve
developed a method of using all of the co-products from rapeseed oil
production to produce green energy for everyone. Green Dragon logs are
made from the rape meal that’s left over from the crushing process that
produces oil for food and fuel. They’re just one of the co-products from
this cyclical process of sustainability.
This
environmentally-friendly process uses rapeseed grown as a 'break crop',
which is part of the natural rotation process, and is on target to
operate within a
50-mile radius. This unique cyclical model has been
carefully designed to use as much of the rapeseed crop as possible for a
range of green energy sources.

Home fire ecoal is the country's first manufactured
smokeless fuel to use 30% of its raw materials from renewable resources.
These renewable materials come from plants that absorb much of the
carbon dioxide that is released when our solid fuel burns. This makes
ecoal much kinder to the environment than other coal based smokeless
fuels. ecoal, being smokeless, emits only a fifth of the smoke compared
to ordinary house coal and burns efficiently with an attractive flame
for longer periods.
